'My Don't Want To Take A Picture'

I really don't have time to be doing this right now, since I'm not packed yet, and have to drop Maddie off in an hour, but I'm going to anyway. This picture is especially for my mom.

"My don't want to take a picture!"
Mike and I are leaving today to take our first ever kid-less vacation together since we've had kids and won't be home until late Sunday night! I'm totally pathetic, and I'm fully aware of it! The only time I've ever left Maddie over night was when I gave birth to Chloe, she was 2 years and 3 months old. Now here we are, she's coming up on her third birthday, and I feel like I can finally do it! Wish me luck!!!
I miss my babies already, and I haven't even left yet!!! :)

Jammies & More

It seems like whenever I take pictures of Chloe, she's in her jammies! Maybe because by the time I get the girls dressed (if we even make it that far in the day), we're going, going, going! Whereas when jammies are on, we're just hanging out, relaxing; either in the evening or in the morning! Here are a few recent ones...

I can't believe my little baby is almost 6 months old!!! Ok, I guess I do take some when she's dressed... well, at least these ones! Chloe wore herself out AGAIN, in her Jumperoo! She loves this thing! She gets so excited to get in it and jump away, she goes crazy!!

Below is just a random one. We got a new entertainment center, finally! I've been shopping around, trying to find the 'perfect' one. It's not an easy task with such an indecisive person, like myself, and then moving the room around to decide where it'd go, and how much room we had. It's not totally decorated yet, but I was tired of looking at it empty so last week I just threw a bunch of pictures and things up there.
Below is a video of what looks like Maddie tormenting Chloe. Maddie LOVES Chloe, and is sure to let everyone know that it's 'her' baby sister! She tells Mike all the time that it's not his baby, it's Maddie's baby sister! It's really cute! Sometimes, (well, lots of times), Maddie's a little too rough with Chloe. She doesn't quite understand that Chloe can't play like she can. Chloe finally rolled over from her tummy to her back last week, but Mike didn't get to see it, so Maddie was showing him how it was done... over and over and over again! (I'm sure a lot of you are thinking, it's about time Chloe rolls over, ya, well, she isn't too fond of being on the floor. She'd rather be sitting up or jumping in her Jumperoo. Stubborn little girl, just like her sister!) So this is what happens when dad's playing with the girls. Poor Chloe!!! It's no wonder she's such an easy going baby!

Comparison

So after posting my last post, I remembered that Maddie wore that exact same dress around the same time. So I went on a picture hunt in my email and found a picture of it! I thought it'd be fun to do a little comparison. Let me know what you think!!

Here is Maddie at 5 months old...

And below is Chloe at 5 months old...

Happy Sunday

My mom's been asking me to post some more and I finally got all caught up with what I had. So after church today I took a few pictures of Chloe.

Maddie was, and still is, down for a nap so I don't have any of her. Chloe loves to sit up these days. She can't quite sit up on her own, but she's always trying. Even in her car seat, she's always trying to sit up! It's pretty funny!
She is growing up WAY TOO FAST!!! It's a bit of a picture overload, with the same 'pose', but I am a very indecisive person so I just post them all! :)

Circleville

On Tuesday afternoon, the girls and I headed down south to Circleville to my sister-in-law's house for the week. It was her birthday that day so we made cupcakes and all the kids helped her blow out candles! I only took one picture the whole time I was there. The kids were cute at times, but crazier most of the time! And at those moments I seriously thought I might go crazy!!! :)

One night, we headed to the next, also tiny town over to their aunt's house to do some canning! It was so fun, and my first time doing it! I had the easy job, I just had to label the top of the cans! I only filled 18 cans this time with flour, sugar, pasta, and pancake mix. I have a long ways to go, but I'll do it! That is one of my main goals for the year is to be more prepared... mainly with our food storage!

While we were there, Uncle Alan had to go pick up a tractor so he and Heather went and took Brody and Maddie with them while I stayed home with Kenzie and Chloe. The kids had a blast on the truck! Maddie has been asking to go for a ride in his Semi for quite some time now. The trip was an hour and a half one-way, which both kids slept most of the way there, and they still loved it!

This is the one picture I took of Brody feeding Chloe. These two absolutely LOVE each other! As soon as Brody woke up in the morning he'd come see if Chloe was awake and instantly ask to hold her! He wanted to do whatever he could to help me with her, and was actually a pretty good helper! Brody could get Chloe to laugh and giggle harder than I've heard her giggle. It was cute watching him get so excited every time she laughed at him!

Matching Girls

Maddie actually picked it out their outfits. She likes to help me choose Chloe's outfit from her closet and when she saw this one, she was so excited because she had one just like it! It was pretty cute!Chloe is turning into the happiest little baby! I say 'turning into' because she hasn't always been this way. With this poor girl having reflux, the first few months were tough and she was one sad baby, in pain most of the time, needing to be held constantly. She is now pretty darn easy going, just kinda hangs out, goes with the flow, and ALWAYS full of smiles and giggles! We just love our little Chloe-bug!

And below is the girl of many faces... and MANY attitudes! :)
Yep, she's nuts, and a stinker at times (ok, lots of times!), but she also is so funny and so sweet, and we LOVE this girl to pieces!!!

Precious Moments

I LOVE moments like this! I just sat and watched the girls being so cute, playing with each other on their tummies (until I realized I should grab a picture and ran for my camera!)It's so cute hearing Maddie talk to Chloe, as if she's a big girl too and can understand things like she can. Maddie has had quite the imagination these days and loves to play make believe, especially with her sister!

Below is just a little video of Chloe that same morning. I was getting her dressed and she was just so giggly! Of course by the time I got my camera, the giggles had calmed down a bit, but you get the point anyway. She is such a silly little girl!

(I apologize for the bumpy filming... it's hard to play peek-a-boo and hold the camera at the same time! :))

Worn Out!

We went over to my aunt & uncle's on Sunday for dinner. While we were eating, Chloe was jumping in their little jumpy-jump horsey. After we finished eating someone noticed she had fallen asleep in there. It was the cutest thing! She didn't like the flash of my camera too much, but I had to snap some pictures anyway. Obviously she wore herself out on her horse ride!

Little Jabbers

I took this video a week or so ago, but forgot to post it. It still doesn't really do Chloe's talking justice, but it's the best I have right now! I'll try again another time!

pOtTy TrAiNeD

Yes, that title is correct! I think I blogged about it months ago, before Chloe was born, when I tried to push Maddie to be potty trained and it totally back fired on me! She wanted NOTHING to do with the toilet, or big girl panties! So, we decided that once things slowed down after the holidays, we'd give it another try! She did good!!! She only had 2 accidents in the first 4 days, and by that 4th day, she was completely potty trained! Even through the night... and that one she did ALL ON HER OWN! I wasn't going to push that part of it right away, I figured she could wear pull ups to bed for a while but SHE DID IT! She begged to wear panties to bed the 3rd night, and I was totally hesitant, but new I couldn't tell her no to that, but then tell her she had to wear them during the day so I let her, and it all worked out!!!She's been potty trained for about a week and a half or so and I don't even have to ask her if she has to go, she is sure to let us all know with that lovely loud voice of hers that it's time! We are so proud of Maddie, and so thankful to have one less bum to change! And her little bummy is pretty darn cute in those little panties!!!

All About Chloe- 5 Months Old

My little Chloe bug is growing up way too fast! I've loved every minute of it, but it makes me sad at the same time. I know how fast the time flies, I can't believe Maddie is already two and a half, coming up on her third birthday! It's like you blink, and you miss it all!

Chloe has been so much fun! She talks and talks and talks! And she is LOUD!!! Even in my noisy church, I still at times have to take her out because she is just talking way too loud!
She is such a happy baby. I love listening to her when she wakes up, she is just little miss chatterbox until I go in there to get her. Her face just lights up the second she hears us or sees us!
Chloe loves to watch TV. I know many of you are thinking I'm on awful mom, and maybe I am, but it's my saving grace sometimes!! It's the only way I can get dinner cooked and keep both girls entertained. But, let me tell you, she's getting her exercise while she watches! She always watches while jumping in her 'Jumperoo', which she LOVES! She is quite the little jumper!!! She gets especially excited when Maddie and I will jump up and down with her!
Chloe learned a new trick a few weeks ago that her daddy very proudly takes credit for teaching her,and Chloe is pretty proud of herself too! Chloe thinks she's pretty funny holding her bottle, and pulling it in and out, just knowing that she has control over it! It's cute to watch her.Chloe, over her head. I know, weird!! She giggles so hard every time we do it!
Chloe has become one VERY drooly baby! She drools constantly now and is pretty slobbery all the time! This is a new thing for us. She chews on anything and everything, leaving it all very wet and slobbery!
Chloe still has to sleep with her head into her blanket. If she has a hood on, she's just as happy turning her head into her hood and will go to sleep instantly!
I took Chloe to the doctor at the beginning of the month and she is growing great. She still has reflux, so we will keep her on her medication for now, which seems to be working great! She still has clogged tear ducts in both eyes, and we hope it will fix itself soon. If it doesn't, my poor little baby will have to have it surgically fixed around 10 months! Something I would not look forward to, so lets pray they get better!!!
Here are Chloe's stats:
Weight- 14.75lbs (55%)
Length- 26.5ins (95.4%)
For right now, we have one tall baby! And one tall baby that we absolutely LOVE! Our little Chloe is the sweetest little thing that we just can't get enough of!!!
