What A Blessing

Sunday was a very special day for our family. Mike gave Chloe a wonderful blessing in church. Afterward, we had the family over for some yummy tri tip! We are so thankful for this little blessing in our life now, as well as her big sister! And of course, for all of our family who are so supportive of our little family! We love you and appreciate you all!!!Chloe looked like a little angel in her dress. I even caught a few of her smiles on camera!

Chloe & Kate Photo Shoot

Last night my sister and I tried to have a photo shoot with the girls. They have a few matching outfits so we thought it'd be fun.... I don't think they felt the same way about it! They took turns crying, took turns being hungry, and by the end, they both were pretty fussy, we were tired, and our 'bigger babies', Maddie & Jackson, who were playing so well together, were bouncing off the walls! Bad timing, I guess! (Probably didn't help that it was past every ones bedtime!) It's tough when we don't live close together and have to cram so much into so little time!!!It was actually really cute to watch Maddie and Jackson with the girls. When they'd start crying they both would get very concerned and try to come help them feel better in any way they could. They were excited to have not just one baby, but two babies there!!! It will be so fun to watch the four of these cute kids grow up!!! Maddie and Jackson just absolutely love each other! They really do play so well together. It was so cute watching them play cars together and hearing them giggle so hard as they'd peek through the holes of their car garage and see each other. Hearing a baby or toddler giggle like that is just the sweetest thing, and then to hear two of them doing it together is even better! We could just sit and watch these kids all day long! (Most days anyway.... haha!)

Another Day At The Zoo

Today we took yet another trip to the Zoo. It is so nice having a membership, making this something we can do as often as we want! Both Maddie and Chloe love being outside, and they do great in their stroller so it makes it easy on me!

Maddie had a great time showing her cousins around the Zoo, and they all had a good time 'swapping strollers'. I think anytime they got out to look at an animal, they jumped back in a different stroller.
We got to see so many animals today! And the weather was just perfect!!! Not too hot, and not too cold. They kids all did great and had a great time!
I think they all loved the animals, but they seemed to love the petting farm best, which is the last thing we hit before heading to the Zoo Store. Probably because it is more 'hands on'!
Once again, Maddie can't follow the rules by walking and has to run to all the goats. She just gets so excited to see them! How do you explain to a 2-year old that the goats are not grandma's dog, Scout, and you can't touch their tails?!?! She actually did pretty well! The problem is really that she has no fear, and her mom does!!! :)

Finally Together

This morning my sister invited us to come to this little cafe/play spot that is like an 'indoor playground', but in a smaller room rather than a huge gymnasium. There are 'room monitors' that help look after the kids so that you can enjoy a snack or 'latte' with your friends. (Yes, we live in Seattle... no, we didn't enjoy a 'latte'! :) They have little lunch items especially for the toddlers. It was pretty cute, and Maddie didn't want to leave. Of course, I did not get pictures, although you can check out Brooklynn's blog. She posted some there. I did manage to get one of the girls together! This is the first time they 'met'... and the first time Brooklynn and I got to meet/hold each others babies!

It was so fun holding baby Kate! It's amazing what a BIG difference 3-pounds is! I actually felt like I was holding a baby and she wasn't so small she could fall right through my arms!!! :) We are so looking forward to seeing them again next weekend for Kate's blessing!

Richmond Beach

Today we went to Richmond Beach. Well, let me back up... we first went to Silverlake, only to find out they just put a chemical in the water so the beach was closed! That's when we went back closer to home and just hung out at Richmond Beach. The kids had a great time. The weather was perfect for just hanging out, but too cool to swim... although, it didn't seem to stop the kids from 'wading' in the water! They had a great time playing in the sand, building sand castles, and throwing rocks in the water! They all had a great time until we were walking back over the bridge to get back to the car and Maddie was running, but then kept stopping so some little girls dad, who will be left unnamed, haha, decided to 'help' her along, but Maddie, being the clumsy little girl she is totally biffed it! It was the worst fall I've seen her have. She first took a nice skid on her knees, then fell to the side of her chin and cheek, then knocked her head... right on the side of her eye. It was awful. And my hands were full from caring Chloe and stuff that I felt totally helpless!
So, here are a few pictures from her bath after the beach. Her scrapes actually just look red in the picture, and don't actually look that bad in these pictures. Trust me, they look awful!!!

Rainforest Cafe

Tonight we went to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. My mom and I had plans to go last Saturday with the kids, but once we all came down with colds, we cancelled the dinner. But we definitely will be going again because Maddie had a blast!!! I love this place because the food is good (although very pricey!) But it makes up for it... the forest atmosphere, which kept Maddie entertained all dinner, and the loudness of it, which was so nice not to have to feel bad for other people trying to enjoy their nice quiet meal with my very loud daughter!

Maddie wanted to take pictures with everything! Brody was a little scared at first, especially of the frog and snake (the pretend snake hanging in the tree). But as we were leaving the restaurant, the frog came up to us again for Maddie to have yet another picture with him, and Brody ran up and gave him a hug! Too funny! Even Chloe seemed to enjoy herself, although she slept through most of it!
Dessert so so yummy! They call it a "Volcano". Maddie called it her "birthday party"! Expensive treat, but so good!!!

Chloe's Pictures (3 Weeks Old)

We went to Kiddie Kandids today to get Chloe's newborn pictures taken. I was a little worried when she was wide awake and super smiley all morning long, thinking that by the time we got to pictures, she would be crashed out! Well, once we got there, she wasn't! She was still wide awake and happy as can be, and so was Maddie.

Unfortunately, they were running behind so by the time we got in, Chloe was fussy and ready to sleep, and so was Maddie. We did the best we could, and Chloe ended up asleep in most of the pictures... which is better than crying I guess!
I had a couple taken with both girls together. I don't love them, but they are fine. I think it's hard to get a good shot of both girls looking good, especially when one is getting fussy!
And then one with the Dudley cousins too.

Pump It Up

Today we went to 'Pump-It-Up'. I blogged about it once before, back in March when we went with Jackson. It is two huge rooms full of blow up toys, and the kids had an absolute blast! None of them wanted to leave!

Maddie was able to climb up the obstacle course almost by herself! She loved to go up there with McKenzie. If she wasn't there, she was on the big slide with Brody.
And once again, Chloe just slept the entire time. Didn't even hear a peep out of her!
