Our Trip To Seattle

**Prepare yourself for a big post with far too many pictures! :)

The main purpose for our trip was for this special event:
We had so much fun on our trip up to Seattle!  We were busy, busy, busy and completely exhausted by the time we returned home, but it was a blast!

Our trip started out with a girls day out for pedicures. Maddie was so excited to come along and have her hands and toes painted too!

The next day was wedding day!

And later that evening, the reception!
Heather & Steven with all the grandkids... what a joke!!

After the wedding festivities were over, we ventured out that week to visit a few friends, the Woodland Park Zoo, and the Children's Museum.  I'm pretty sure I only took pictures at the Zoo because I wasn't so good about remembering to take my camera out of the diaper bag! :(

Sam also had his first taste of rice cereal, which actually went well!

We got to play lots with my cousin, Allison, and her sweet baby Jordan.  Jordan has a special birthday... April Fool's Day! :)

On the drive home, we decided since we weren't in a rush to get anywhere, we'd stop halfway and stay in a hotel for the night.  900 miles in the car with 3 little ones is quite an adventure, but they actually did really well.  We packed lots of activities, movies, and snacks.  The drive home was a lot more pleasant breaking the drive up, and the kids loved swimming in the pool at the hotel, watching Spongebob, and sleeping in their own big bed together!

Sam- 5 1/2 Months

Sam's 5 1/2 months now and cute as can be!  We just love this little guy!  Sam is such a happy baby, with the exception of when he has ear infections.  Poor baby has had a few of those already.  He still is small, smaller than both girls were at this age, but I'm OK with that.  I have always wished my kids wouldn't grow up so fast, so I'm not complaining about him being little!  Here are some pictures of our Sammy taken over the past month or so...

Maddie's New Room

We're starting the bedroom 'switch-a-roo' here!  A few weeks ago I moved Maddie out of the smaller room downstairs into the bigger room downstairs, which used to be our office/storage/everything-gets-shoved-into-this-room.  This is all in preparation of moving Chloe into Maddie's old room downstairs and Sam out of our room, into Chloe's old room upstairs.  Are you following along still?!  Since Sam's been sleeping through the night, I've been thinking of switching rooms around but wasn't sure if I'd have Maddie and Chloe share a room, Sam & Chloe share a room, if I was ready for Chloe to be downstairs, if the kids would all have their own rooms, etc. I'm just a very indecisive person, and this was no exception! After Maddie and Chloe begged to nap together, I gave in, a few times... but it was NOT a success!  After 20 minutes of the girls laughing and playing together, they ended up in their own rooms.  So, it's decided!  The kids will all be in their own separate bedrooms.  This also means that we no longer have an 'office' or a 'storage room'.  Oh well.

So after that long story, the only thing I've accomplished so far was moving Maddie to her new room.  Well, her furniture is in her new room.  There is still decorating to be done.  And the other rooms are still on my growing 'to-do' list.  But it's a start.  So far, she loves it!
