Chuck-E-Cheese

Last night, for Chloe's birthday, we went to Chuck-e-Cheese. I don't really care for the place, but the kids LOVE it! Chloe loved watching the characters on stage dancing, and Maddie loved all the rides and games, and especially meeting good 'ol Mr. Chuck! :) Chuck-E even through out free tickets for all the kids to collect off the ground!

I didn't get any pictures of Maddie playing her favorite games of all... you probably wouldn't even guess... my little princess wanted to play all the shoot-em gun games over and over again! Who would have thought.

This is "Puff" from "Puff The Magic Dragon", as Maddie says. She has been obsessed with that movie lately!

Maddie told me she was in the spaceship, flying to space!

We are having Chloe's birthday party tomorrow so we'll have more party pictures coming! :)

Let The Shopping Begin...

I am LOVING all of this blue... I do still love pink, but blue is such a nice change!!! :)
PS. We have our REAL ultrasound on Tuesday, so hopefully he'll still be a boy or else I'll have some returning to do! :)

Happy Birthday, Chloe-Bugsy!!

My little Chloe-bug turned 1 today (this morning, to be exact! :)) As much as I love watching my girls grow up, and each new stage and milestone they hit... I hate it!!! I wish time would slow down a little and let me enjoy it a little more!I gave Maddie her first little "pony" on her first birthday, so thought it was only appropriate Chloe got her first pony-tail too! I thought it was pretty darn cute, especially her little sprout-let... I love that her hair is curly and the pony sprouts, just like Maddie's did! Chloe isn't walking on her own yet, but she can stand on her own. She has yet to take steps. She is pretty steady standing though and can cruise along the couch!

Chloe has her 12 month doctor's appointment on Monday, so I will update more than, but some of Chloe's favorite things right now are: clapping, talking to da-da on the phone, dancing, and putting on sunglasses (just to hear me say "oh, pretty Chloe"... it makes her giggle every time so she'll do it over and over again!) Oh, and she loves to play peek-a-boo! She'll grab any object in sight to cover her eyes and pulls it off really fast. She does this over and over so fast, we usually don't even have time to see "peek-a-boo" in between, so it has turned to just "peek"! :)

Boy Names... HELP!!!

As usual, I have lots of blogging to catch up on, but since I've taken ZERO pictures for all 3 family reunions, it requires a lot of work to "steal" them from other people... but I'll work on that!

But, I need some help with boy names! Mike pretty much doesn't like any of them! It's a bit ridiculous. We've sort of agreed on about 2, but I want to know of suggestions from all of you. A name that will fit with Maddie and Chloe. We'd like to use "Michael" as the middle name too.

So bring on those suggestions!!! :)

My Newest Nephew

My brother and sister-in-law had their baby Wednesday evening! Baby Nicholas was born 2 weeks early but still weighed in at 8 lbs, 2 oz! He is adorable, and I can't wait to meet him!!!

My brother has been down in Southern California training with the Marines at Camp Pendleton, preparing to go overseas again (for his third time!). Unfortunately, Nico was in a hurry to get out and just couldn't wait for daddy to get home, but daddy did make it just a few hours after!!

Congratulations Sarah, Lamar, and Miles! :)

Lagoon

During the Pugmire/Bromley family reunion we went to Lagoon. (We did lots of other fun things too, but I suck at taking pictures!)

Hard to see, but they are sitting smack dab in the middle, the front row facing to the right. It's some random little girl in a blue shirt, then Brooklynn, Jackson, Maddie, and Mike. Maddie LOVED it! I guess Jackson turned pretty white on the ride, but when he got off, he told me he loved it and wanted to go again! Pretty funny! :)

Mike and Alex rode on this thinger. Don't know what it is, but it flew them up in the air!

Chloe crashed by the end of the night. It was a long day!

Rodeo

July 22nd, we went to the Days of 47 Rodeo. We had a lot of fun. I especially love rodeos and haven't been to one for about a year now. The girls were both pretty tired by the end. I took quite a few pictures of them there because their faces were hilarious!!

Homemade Oreo Cookies

We made these today and they are YUMMY! I've had a few requests for the recipe, which I found on this blog. Just eating the cookies plain are really good too! We would know, we tried a few! :)

Cookies:

• 2 devil's food cake mixes
• 2 cubes butter
• 4 eggs

Mix ingredients together. Roll into small balls (about 1T). Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. When cookies are cool, spread filling on one cookie and sandwich with another.

Cream Cheese Filling:

• 1/2 cube of butter
• 8 oz. cream cheese
• 1 t vanilla
• 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Beat ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
