Fruitland

The girls and I drove to Fruitland, Idaho last Sunday and stayed until the following Friday. It was just under a 7-hour drive for us (I drive fast, but given that we had to make stops for food and potty!)

We all had a blast! The kids loved playing together, all of them! It was so fun to watch the two babies interact together. Who would've thought that two 6-month olds could have so much fun together?! And the two-year olds always have a good time together, although sometimes it's that love/hate relationship! :)
We did lots of shopping, lots of errands, Cabela's (aka- the Zoo to the little ones... whatever works, right?? :)), and out to Red Robin, where we fed Kate a lemon, which she loved, and both babies got some tastes of their siblings Mac & Cheese sauce, which they both thoroughly enjoyed!Maddie & Jackson had fun feeding the horses with and playing in the sandbox. They're pretty much happy doing anything that's outdoors!
We attempted to take the kids picture all together, you can see how well we did... haha! It was pretty much a joke!
Then I tried to get a few of just my girls together once we got back inside and it was just as hard as getting all four kids!
Little stinkers!!!
This is just a funny little video of Kate & Chloe playing. I accidentally deleted the best one I had, the girls were totally giggling at each other while Kate was taking all of Chloe's toys! It was hilarious! We were laughing so hard! So this is another one I took, I was so mad I deleted the first, especially because this one isn't nearly as funny, but I thought I'd post it anyway. Mostly for grandma! :)

Sisters

The girls are wearing cute little matching outfits our friends from Seattle gave them for Christmas so I had to snap some pictures!
Maddie wasn't too into having her picture taken anymore, so here are some of Chloe by herself.

Chloe- Six Months

I can't believe Chloe is six months old already. Time is just flying by, and we are enjoying every minute of it!

Chloe is such a happy baby, and pretty easy going. Which is a huge difference from her first couple months, until we got her reflux under control. She is still taking medication for it, and it seems to be helping!
Poor girl does still have clogged tear ducts, some days they're worse than others. I just hope those clear up on their own very soon so she won't have to have surgery!
Chloe loves to stick her tongue out. You'll see it in many of her pictures! She's such a silly little girl!
Chloe loves playing with toys, or anything that she can put in her mouth.
Chloe loves to make a fist and hit it back and forth on her mouth to make really loud sounds! It makes us laugh every time! Especially when we're in the car and can hear her back there in her carseat entertaining herself!
She loves her sister!!! No one can make Chloe giggle like Maddie can!!!
Chloe just recently started enjoying food. She had no interest in the past month or two, but all of the sudden she wants to eat anytime she sees someone eating food. So far she's enjoyed Applesauce, Bananas, and Peaches!
Chloe can roll over, but doesn't. She doesn't like being on her tummy at all, just like her sister!
Chloe can also sit up sometimes on her own. She still isn't really good at it, and actually thinks it's funny to fall back. Not so funny falling forward. She will give a very sad cry when she face-plants it on the ground!
Chloe is still eating every 4 hours, and sleeping through the night, from around 8pm to 6:30am-ish.
Chloe says mama and dada a lot. Dada is the newest one. She has no idea what she's saying, it's just the babble that comes out of her mouth.
Speaking of babble, Chloe is one LOUD, talkative little girl! She'll talk to anything. Lately, she's been talking to her hands... kinda funny!
Chloe is just starting to wear 9 month clothes, and just started wearing size 3 diapers too.
We just love this little munchkin!!! Chloe doesn't have her six month doctors appointment until March so I will post her stats then!

Las Vegas

Last weekend Mike and I took our first getaway alone, since we've had kids! Because we moved at the time of our Anniversary, we never really celebrated, and I'm going to my sisters this weekend so we decided to celebrate Valentine's Day early!

Blurry & dark, but you get the point! This was the view from our room.

It has taken me this long to even want to do it, sounds bad, and maybe it is, I just haven't felt like I could leave my kids! Not because I don't trust people to leave them with, but because I can't handle being away from them! The only time I've ever left Maddie over night was when I gave birth to Chloe and was in the hospital... ya, a whole 24 hours! I'm totally pathetic! So I think I did pretty good this time, we left on Thursday and came back Sunday night. Maddie stayed with my aunt Debbie and Chloe stayed with my sister-in-law, Heather. Both girls did great (unless Debbie & Heather didn't tell the truth! :)), and there is nothing better then walking in the door to pick them up and seeing their little faces just light up! Even Chloe, I wish I had my camera, it was priceless!!
Sorry it's so dark, view from our room! Doesn't look so great from the photo, but it really was incredible!
We stayed at the Trump Hotel, which was AMAZING! Seriously, I recommend it to everyone, it was amazing! And we got a great deal!! We were up on the 55th floor, I think it went up to 64 or 65. I loved that there wasn't a casino in it, it is new, and very clean. The room was great! That's the only pictures we took the whole time we were there! We decided someday when we build a house of our own, we want a bathroom like the one in our room! There was even a great mall right across the street, and if you cut through it, it takes you right to the strip, to Treasure Island!
It rained half the time we were there, which was kind of a bummer, but not so bad since we didn't have kids with us, and it just meant less crowds out and about! I felt like I was home in Seattle at times! We went and saw a couple shows, our favorite one being the hypnosis show! We even got the video! It was hilarious!!! We walked lots, ate lots, tried to sleep in but I guess we're both used to getting up with kids so we were both awake early! Mike surprised me with a morning at the Trump Spa on Saturday! We got couples massages, which were amazing as well! The spa is indescribable! It's one of the top hotel spas in the nation! Go check it out for yourself!!! We even did a little gambling, and I'd have to say, I must have had beginners luck... we only put in $50 each at the black jack table and I came out with over $300! I don't have any tips, just did what the people at my table told me to do, and for once in my life and a bit of good luck!
Overall it was a great trip! I did miss my girls a lot, but it didn't keep me from enjoying myself! It was so nice to be able to spend alone time with Mike, we don't ever get that anymore! I probably won't be ready to leave my girls for a while again, but at least I know I can do it, and had a good time that I'd want to do it again... maybe just not for a little while! :) I did come home and have 'room service' withdrawal! Just the other night I really did not feel like cooking, and thought how great it'd be to be able to just pick up the phone, order it, and have it all delivered, your table set and everything! And the delivered dessert at 1am was delicious!
Loved the TV in the mirror in the bathroom! It made getting ready so much better!

I'm not really a bath person, but this was amazing too!
Coolest glass swinging doors... toilet on left, shower on right!
Same picture, but the doors are open! :)
Thanks Mike for a great trip! I love you!!!
