The Greatest Show On Earth.... um, I DON'T think so!

Mike and I thought it was pretty boring.

The music was SOOOO loud, that little miss sensitive ears, Maddie, had her ears covered the whole time... until we got her a snow cone that is, then she sat and seemed to "enjoy" the show (more like enjoy her $9 snow cone in the dumb souvenir cup!)

Chloe seemed to like it, but she's so wiggly these days, she'd rather be down walking. As long as I kept handing her crackers, she was pretty entertained. She loved clapping anytime she heard someone else clapping! Pretty darn cute!
The best part of the day... we were starving afterward and found this burger joint downtown Salt Lake that was AMAZING! We will totally go back just for those yummy burgers, shoestring fries, and sweet potato fries!

Maddie Says:

Maddie: "Daddy, are you just jealous?"

Random Person At Disneyland: "Who is your favorite princess?"

Maddie: "Um, just my baby sister, Chloe!"

Maddie (very sadly): "Mommy, I wish I was big like you so I could have a baby in my tummy!"

Me: "Someday you'll be a mommy just like me."

Maddie: "And I want to push the pedals to drive the car!"

Me: "Maddie, you need to go get back in bed. You have to be up early for school in the morning."

Maddie: "Fine, if you keep being mad then you're not going to Disneyland!"

(This happened last night... AFTER our trip to Disneyland!)

Maddie: "My teacher got mad at me today."

Me: "Why did your teacher get mad at you?"

Maddie: "Because I didn't have Challenger ways."

Me: "Why didn't you have Challenger ways?"

Maddie: "Because I wanted to play outside and it wasn't time to play outside."

Maddie to Daddy: "Daddy, you're my very best friend!"

Me: "Can I be your best friend too?"

Maddie (looking around): "No, you can just be best friends with the socks!"

Grandma's Surprise!

Grandma never ceases to surprise me and the girls! When we got home from our trip, we were greeted with 2 packages sitting on our doorstep! She is so good about remembering the girls. This one happened to be a Halloween surprise, but sometimes they're just random, "to let you know I'm thinking of you" kind of surprises! The girls love them!!

Maddie, of course, couldn't wait to open them! So while daddy unpacked the car (excuse the mess in the background), we checked out the surprise!

Maddie's favorite things are (were) the candy... it's eaten! And also her Tinkerbell charms and stencils. In face, she's tracing with the stencils right now as I type this!

Chloe loves anything she can get her hands onto!

Thanks grandma, for thinking of us!!! We can't wait to see you next month!!! :)

The girls love bath time together!

Check out Chloe's tan! This girl has some dark skin! Even keeping her out of the sun as much as possible and sunscreen on, this girl can tan! The first day in Disneyland with 90 degree weather, I forgot the sunscreen at the hotel! Thank goodness my girls don't burn easily! I love the white lines in Chloe's arm rolls!

Chloe doesn't always listen very well, especially when it comes to standing up in the bath tub. You'll see the bump... (her hair is covering it up here), just keep scrolling down! THE BUMP! Came instantly! Poor baby! But I do love this sweet face!

Disneyland- Day 6

Day 6- Wednesday, September 23rd

Going on It's A Small World for the 100th time... but we didn't complain. The girls loved it, by far their favorite ride, it had AMAZING air conditioning, and it just so happens to be one of my favorite rides too! They have updated some things in there so it was fun to see all the changes.

Showing off their new characters. While we were there, Maddie got this weird obsession with Donald Duck. It's all she could talk about. Funny thing is, we didn't even see Donald, other than in the parade.

Disneyland- Day 5

Day 5- Tuesday, September 22nd

Mom & Maddie riding Dumbo.... again! :)

Chloe really liked the Dumbo ride!

Crashed again! A daily occurance for Chloe since we were out during her morning nap!

Riding on the sliding Mickey Ferris Wheel at California Adventures. Kinda scary, up high in the air, and your car goes sliding, but the girls loved it! Waiting for the Disneyland Parade to start.

Maddie got picked out of the crowd to go dance with one of the dancers. She was pretty excited!
We stopped across the street at the 7-eleven to get some more milk for Chloe and picked up some Slurpee's for the girls while we were there... I'm pretty sure they loved them! I think Chloe got brain freeze here, kinda funny! :)
