Random Things

I have some random pictures taken over the past week and thought I'd post them! :)Maddie started swim lessons back up, but this time closer to home. We did them over at the Provo Rec Center. Definitely NOT impressed! Her teacher was so sweet, but there was just no structure here, and I felt like they didn't learn anything. Maddie was too advanced for the class (2 of the boys in her class would barely put their faces in the water so I think it held the other 2 girls back). She got bored and just ended up jumping and swimming around on her own. So, next month we're making the drive back to Lehi for better lessons! Maddie LOVES the water so swim lessons is a must! :)

These girls are hilarious! They love to give each other kisses constantly! Chloe gives the best, open-mouth, slobbery kisses, and it doesn't seem to bother Maddie at all! I didn't get very good pictures of it this time, but you get the point! It looks like Chloe is crying above, trust me, she is laughing SO hard! I could listen to these two giggle all day long!Chloe's pretty good at holding her own these days! Here she is getting Maddie! And yes, Maddie is cracking up! :)Chloe is walking all over the place now! I feel like she is SO much more active now that she is walking. This is one busy little girl!
I love this face! Such a happy little baby! :)
If Maddie sees me taking pictures of Chloe, she wants her pictures taken too! This girl says the funniest things! I need to write more of them down because I forget about them! Last night she wasn't answering me as quickly as I'd like (I'm not very patient!) so I started to get a little frustrated in my tone of voice with her. She finally looked at me and said, with attitude, "Mom, just stop freakin', and you ARE freakin'!" And lately, she's been saying this one quite a bit, I have no idea where she got it from, but she says it all the time, "I don't know anything about anything."Last night Maddie and I went to see the Toy Story 1 & 2 double feature 3-D movie at the theater. She loved them! Picture's a little blurry, but it's the only one I got! :)My sleepy little baby! If there's a pillow, she lays on it! She also has a bracelet obsession! If it has a hole in it, it goes on her wrist. She always has something on her wrist, sometimes 2 or 3 things. If it's a big enough hole, it goes around her neck for a necklace. She loves putting things around her neck these days, which freaks me out! She'll take cords, ribbon, or anything she can find and put it around her neck. (Don't worry, we take them right off!) She loves to be told she's "pretty"!Another "bracelet"... this is a bed that goes with Maddie's horse stable. We can't keep any bows or "pretties" in Chloe's hair. She is always grabbing at her head and pulls them right out! It's a lost cause! It ends up turning into a game where she wants me to keep putting it back in for her to pull it out. She does give the cutest little giggle each time! She's pretty excited about these "bracelets". She and Maddie are always walking around with these on their wrists!
Notice she's in the bathroom... Maddie sometimes forgets to shut the door when she's done, which has to be done! Chloe has quite the obsession with bathrooms. She loves to pull all the toilet paper off the roll, so if you come to our house, you'll either find all the bathroom doors shut, or the TP rolls on the counter, out of Chloe's reach! She also tries to throw things in the toilet while Maddie's sitting on it, or right after she's gotten off. Maddie's good about keeping the seat down, but Chloe's quick! The other day, Mike had to pull a pair of Maddie's panties out of the toilet that Chloe had quickly thrown in. What a stinker!!!
I love that these girls just love each other! I hope it stays that way! :)

Chloe Bugsy

Bedhead! This girl had a serious case of it this morning!
Chloe is the biggest copy-catter! (I know, it's not even a word! :)) She copies everything her sister does... which is NOT always a good thing. In the last week, I've had cheerios thrown all over my bedroom AND lucky charms! Maddie claims that Chloe dumped the bowl over... which doesn't explain why they were EVERYWHERE, covering all areas of the floor! But, there's nothing sweeter then listening to these two giggle at each other! I really need to get it on tape... I love it!!! I hope these two girls stay the best of friends growing up!
I love getting Chloe up in the morning. She is always so happy! She sleeps with three blankets. She likes one on each side of her, and one over top of her... which only lasts for about 2 minutes. She ends up falling asleep at the end of her bed. But when I come to get her in the morning, she has to hand me all three blankets! It never fails, and it makes me laugh every morning! After she hands me the third, she looks around to make sure she got them all!Chloe walks around the house saying "hi" to everyone. Earlier today she was trying to get my attention and kept saying, "hey, hey". When I finally looked over at her she gave me a big smile and said "hi!" Normally it's "Hi Dad". She says that to everyone! She's pretty much like her sister, when we're out in public, she talks to everyone! I'm loving her own little gibberish language! I just wish I knew what was going through this sweet little baby's head, and what's coming out of her mouth!I haven't even tried to do Chloe's hair these days because it's pointless! She can't stand having anything in her hair, she pulls it out faster then I can get it in most of the time! Rubber bands, bows, headbands, it doesn't matter... they all come out! By the time Maddie was 1 year old she finally had enough hair that I could get one cute, tiny little pony in her hair. There was not a day that went by that her hair wasn't done. Chloe has been a whole other story, which is too bad since this girl has plenty of hair to do something with!
Little Miss Independent these days! Since she's been walking, she just thinks she is SO big! I love it! She has so much confidence now!Her "pretty" lasted until about lunch time (see pictures below)... we're making progress! :)

Pumpkin Patch

Last night we took the girls to the pumpkin patch. We had no intentions of going, but Maddie came home from school and said she wanted to go. A little random, so they must have talked about it at school. Regardless, it was a great idea, and a great night to go!

We were disappointed last year with the one we went to, so we tried a new one this year. And the girls had a blast! It's more fun for younger children, which worked out perfect for us! We will definitely go back again! This is the first thing that caught Maddie's eye... the horse swing! She went on one of these up in Washington with her cousins Fia and Lisi, and remembered it! She told me all about it! This girl can remember EVERYTHING!This was like a huge wooden sandbox, only filled with corn kernels! The girls, and Mike, loved it! They were trying to bury each others feet! We had to keep Chloe's pacifier in her mouth after we caught her trying to eat a few!Maddie found some "friends" there... typical! She finds "friends" everywhere we go! She helped these two kids bury their mom. They had this fun corn cannon that shoots off corn on the cob. We weren't sure how it worked at first, because Mike tried one that wasn't working. So when I stuck a cob in a different one and pressed the button, the corn shot out making a loud sound and caught us all by surprise! Scared the crap out of Maddie (who does NOT like loud noises... go figure... I guess her own loudness doesn't bother her!) She freaked out! It was so fun though, so Mike wanted to give it a try... a couple times. Maddie sat with her ears covered the whole time. It didn't even phase Chloe. She was just happy to be walking around! They had a big corn maze, and then this little hay maze. Maddie really liked this one a lot! She told me it's like the maze on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Here's the girls with a white chicken! We took a ride on the animal train. We have done this one before too, up in Washington with Fia & Lisi... and I was pregnant then too! This ride was SO bumpy, one I probably could have done without!Maddie is now worried that everything would be loud! I guess the tractor pulling us was too loud for her comfort! :)Maddie switched cars before we left... decided she wanted to be the "leader".Then we took a hay ride, which we had to keep telling Maddie over and over again that it really wasn't loud! She finally believed us and took her hands off her ears! What a crazy girl!
More on the hayride... another bumpy one I could have done without. But everyone else really liked it!This pig was HUGE! It looked kind of sad actually, and had these teeth that looked like they'd chew our hand right off! The big hardly opened his eyes, just laid there eating! So sad, really!
He isn't dead (maybe close to it... who knows?!), he really is sitting her chewing pieces of the pumpkin. I just happened to take a picture when his mouth was closed! :)Maddie really liked the little petting farm, her favorite was probably the rabbits.Feeding the goat....
Going down the big slide... her face was pretty freaked out coming down! She said she liked it, but one time was enough for her! She told me after, "That slide was so fun, but it freaked me out a little!" So funny! :)This was a blow up haunted house thing... I think! We didn't actually go in so I don't really know! It had a bunch of air blowing right in the beginning that Maddie didn't like. She decided she wanted to go eat at the food shack instead! Probably didn't help that she didn't have a nap that day, and then fell asleep on the way over to the pumpkin patch, so we had to wake her up when we got there!

Ha Ha Ha! :)
